FECKENHAM were washed up this week after their Entaco ground in Studley was left waterlogged following a burst pipe which ruled out their top of the table clash with NKF Burbage in Midland League Division Two.

Millers manager Aaron Blackwood said: "About 25 per cent of the pitch was waterlogged, although I believe the situation is improving and Severn Trent have already been out to access the damage. I don't think the current situation will be long term."

Some of Feckeham's players featured for the reserves in their 6-0 success over reigning Stratford Alliance champions Badsey United.

Ben Ellicott helped himself to a hat-trick, Gabor Langyuel added two more with Aaron Addis making it six of the best.

Feckenham face local rivals Montpellier this Saturday at Studley's Beehive ground in Abbeyfields Drive (3pm).

Blackwood added: "It's one of those games which really gets the players buzzing. Montpellier are one of the title favourites. We lost to them 4-1 earlier in the season but much of that was down to Stuart Hendrie who scored a hat-trick and made a major influence on the game.

"We'll be looking to put the record straight this time. It's a game you look forward to."
