FECKENHAM will be keeping their fingers crossed they can return to action this Saturday as they face a local derby at rivals Fairfield Villa.

Both sides will be bidding to book their place in the Evesham Hospital Cup semi-finals, where they will face either Alcester Town or Inkberrow together with the winners of Malvern Town Reserves and Redditch Borough.

The Millers then make a trip to face Tamworth side Coton Green in a Midland League Division Two match on Tuesday.

Last Saturday's proposed President's Cup semi-final contest with Hampton FC had to be called off and has yet to be re-arranged, although it is likely the game will now become a midweek fixture.

Feckenham's reserve side fared no better with their Evesham Hospital Minor Cup clash at Inkberrow Reserves also postponed due to the weather.

The reserves hope for better luck this Saturday when they travel to Claverdon for a Stratford Alliance contest.

Spare a thought for Feckenham's under-18 side. They were attempting to play their Worcestershire Midweek Youth Cup clash with Kidderminster Harriers this week at the 10th time of asking.

Feckenham must also face the remainder of the season without highly rated  player Connor Perry-Holmes who has joined Midland League Division One outfit Littleton.
