EIGHT Kodokan Judo Droitwich members won nine medals in the AJA Midland Area Closed Championships at Birmingham’s Erdington Academy.
Junior low-grade golds went to Alex Clarke, seven, and Jake Bradley, eight, in their first competition.
Chloe-May Andrews, eight, claimed gold too.
Open-grade gold medals went to Callum Child, nine, Max Clarke, 14, and Bic Moseley, 15, who also got silver in the esquire category.
Luke Brookes, nine, earned silver and Sebastian Hodgetts, eight, bronze.
Club trainer Bradley Swift said: “Everyone fought exceptionally well in what were some very tough contests.
“We are extremely proud of everyone for both their performances, attitude and the hard work they put into training.
“Everyone has improved their skills massively since our last competition.
“I am honoured to be associated with such a good bunch of judoka.”
