BROMSGROVE Sporting have announced the return of goalkeeper Jono Brown to the club.

Brown starred in the club's ‘Invincible’ season of 2016/17, where he filled in for the injured Chris Jay for the latter months of the campaign to help guide the Rouslers to their unbeaten campaign.

He became available since his contracted ended with Kidderminster Harriers, having been on loan with Sutton Coldfield from January this year.

Manager Bren Kelly expressed his delight at securing Brown’s signature: “Jono had other options but having already had a short loan spell with us before, he is eager to show the Sporting faithful how he has matured and improved.

“It creates competition for another area on the pitch which is always healthy to have at a club”

Brown said: “I am buzzing to be back to a huge club, with even bigger ambitions. I can’t wait to show everyone how much I’ve improved and see all the fans that treated me so well last time.”
