THE National Top Club run finally ended for Worcester's bowlers at Leamington when they narrowly lost 3-2 in the quarter-finals to West Ealing from Middlesex.
Losing the two wood singles but winning the four wood and the pairs gave hope to Worcester.
But the match was all square after their opponents won the triples.
The fours just failed by five shots after a tight game despite picking up two fives as their opponents scored six singles over the final ends to snatch victory.
