Captains tee off

NEW Bromsgrove Golf Club captains Mark Hawkins and Debbie Degge officially drove in' the new season with the Captain's Shield event.

The men's competition was won by Craig Goldsby with a score of Net 64, while Matt Hawkins was second with Net 65.

In the ladies competition Kerry Coulter won with Net 72 with Chris Wilson taking second with Net 73.

In the final of the men's Winter League, Jeff Rushton beat Tony While by two and one.
