STRIKER Jermaine Clarke has made a return to Bromsgrove Rovers.
The powerful forward, who scored a dramatic extra-time winner in Rovers' BGB Midlands One play-off final against Willenhall in May 2007, is back at the Victoria Ground following a spell with Newport County.
Clarke had been training with Evesham United, and watched the Robins' 2-0 friendly win over Rovers last night.
It is believed he held talks with the Greens' hierarchy after the game.
Having joined on-loan in the 2006-07 season from Redditch United, Clarke made his move to Rovers permanent in summer 2007.
He left last October to link up with Blue Square South club Newport.
The Greens have also added midfielder Damion Jarrett to their squad.
Jarrett, who made his debut in last night's friendly, has had spells with Birmingham City, West Bromwich Albion, Rushden and Diamonds Hednesford and Cambridge City.
