A GIFTED quartet from South Bromsgrove High School are ready to impress at the English Schools Cross-Country Championships on Saturday.
Max Parker, Alex Rainsden, Calum Smith and Nicole Bailey are all aiming to do their best in Merryfield, Somerset.
The four booked their spot after doing well at the Hereford and Worcester County School Championships earlier in the month.
Parker was second in the inter-boys, followed by sixth-placed Rainsden and Smith in seventh, while Bailey was runner-up in the junior girls category.
Head of PE Dave Bayliss said: “We are very proud of six students who represented the area in the County Championships.”
