CUTNALL Green overhauled RGS Worcester's total of 137-1 to claim a two-wicket victory in the Sunday division of the Worcestershire Cricket Board Indoor League.
Batting first, the Grammar School started steadily with openers Oli Flower and Dan Sproul putting on 50 for the first wicket.
Flower (25no) and Sproul (27no) both retired and were replaced by Jack Saunders and Liam Both.
The new batsmen did well too, with Saunders retiring on an unbeaten 28 and Booth reaching 25no.
Dan Haggar was unbeaten on 14 at the end of the allotted overs.
In their reply, Cutnall Green started well through Neil Fletcher and Matt Harris' quick-fire opening stand of 49.
The openers both passed 25 and had to retire, but Derek Higgins kept the scoreboard ticking over.
Higgins made 27no and retired, while Chris Higgins and the returning Harris took the score to 114 before the latter was run out for 33.
Fletcher returned to the crease and saw Cutnall Green to victory, finishing 33no, while Derek Higgins was unbeaten on 30.
Meanwhile, Avoncroft claimed their first win of the season with an eight-run triumph over Droitwich B'.
Adam Rodway and Mark Whitehead set up the victory by putting a stranglehold in the early stages of the Droitwich innings.
With the bat, Andy Nicol (37no), Paul Athey (29no) and Jon Bird (28) helped Avoncroft post 131-4.
For Droitwich B', Nigel Haddock weighed in with 27, while Neil Davies also added 27 and Andy Fletcher contributed 22no, but the miserly bowling of Rodway and Whitehead was enough to seal the win.
In the Monday division, Worcester thrashed Droitwich C' by 63 runs.
Unbeaten knocks by Oli Peppiatt (30no), Harry Brown (26no) and James Padden (26no) helped the city side to a competitive total of 129-2. Rhys John (1-17) was the pick of the Droitwich C' bowlers.
However, the Spa side got off to a slow start to their reply and lost opener Matt Williams for a duck when he was bowled by George Bailey.
Fellow opener Max Young was run out for 20 and John was bowled by Liam Weston for 18.
Weston (1-8), Bailey (1-21) and James Wagstaffe (1-14) were the successful Worcester bowlers.
