FINE bowling and fielding helped Avoncroft to a four-wicket win over RGSAO Worcester in the Worcestershire Cricket Board Indoor League.

The students scored 117-5 with Oli Flower hitting 53 not out.

Adam Rodway (1-28) and Jon Bird (1-24) took the wickets in the Sunday Division clash.

In reply, Avoncroft's father-and-son partnership Paul (4 not out) and Adam Rodway (24no) saw them home on 118-2 with two balls to spare.

Andy Nicol added 25 (retired) and Paul Athey 23, while Jack Watkins took 2-30 for RGSAO.

Cutnall Green defeated Droitwich B' by 36 runs after settting a formidable 136-1.

Neil Fletcher (34 not out), Matt Harris (26 retired), Derek Higgins (27 retired) and Scott Shuck (26 retired) proved unstoppable.

Chris Higgins (2-18) and Paul Hutchins (2-29) helped dismiss Droitwich for 100 with Neil Davies (35) top-scoring.

On Monday, Droitwich C' crumbled to 47-6, as they lost by four wickets to Rushwick.

Max Young stood firm for Droitwich with 44 as Matt Champion took 2-22, Leon Wood 2-13 and Tim Bossinger 1-4.

Chris Colley scored 26 retired in the successful Rushwick run chase.
