Ombersley win by 132 runs
A MAGNIFICIENT unbeaten 123 from Duncan Catterall gave Ombersley a dream start to life in Birmingham and District Division Two.
Coming to the crease at number three after openers Phil Burdon (4) and Joey Robinson (13) fell cheaply, Catterall anchored the innings as Ombersley posted 234-9 from their 55 overs.
He received some support from Brett D'Oliveira, who hit 25.

Catterall took the momentum from his innings into Water Orton's reply, when he trapped the visitors' opener James Lawley LBW for a duck.
Matt Rawnsley (4-19) then took over the attack, removing Nick Lawley, Gary Crouch and Joe Sperring in quick succession, before wrapping up the game in the 46th over with the wicket of Lesroy Irish.
D'Oliveira also shone with the ball, finishing with figures of 3-5, while Neil Slade chipped in with 2-12.
