Girls in title triumph

BROMSGROVE Preparatory School took the under-13s IAPS Netball title after a nail-biting final victory over Cranleigh School from Surrey.

Bromsgrove played eight matches in the play-off rounds, winning all of them, including a comfortable 9-4 success over Millfield.

They faced a tough test against Chafyn Grove in the semi-final but came out 6-5 victors.

The final proved to be every bit as close and they edged out their opponents 4-3 to lift the trophy.

It is the second year running that a team from Bromsgrove has achieved success at this level.
