AN ALEC Witts strike after just 11 minutes condemned Droitwich Spa to a 1-0 Worcestershire Junior Cup final defeat by Bredon at St George's Lane last night.
Witts slotted home at the second attempt after a mix-up in Spa's defence.
But despite being second best throughout the first-half, Tom Goss' men put up a valiant effort in the second and were desperately unluckly not to bag an equaliser.
Sean Parrish came agonisingly close, seeing an effort cannon off both posts.
Arron Parr also had a chance, but he fired wide across goal.
