BARNT Green Spartak's defence of the Smedley Crooke Memorial Charity Cup ended after a 2-0 semi-final defeat by Continental Star at Lye Meadow last night.
In Midland Combination Division One, Fairfield Villa were beaten 2-1 by Northfield Town.
Villa are without a game this weekend, while Spartak are back in Midland Combination Premier Division action at Meir KA.
