Sailers get set for open event

THIS Saturday sees the Grand Prix Laser Class Open meeting at Barnt Green Sailing Club.

The day comprises of three one hour races, commencing with the first race at 11am. The two subsequent races follow a lunch and tea time break.

Barnt Green Sailing Club - Wednesday evening Pursuit Series (April 2): Seniors: Dinghies - 1) Phil Everard (Solo), 2) Tim Jobson (Solo), 3) Bob & Mandy Suggitt (Lark). Sailboards - 1) Robin Brown.

Sunday Class racing (April 13): 1st race: Seniors: Sailboards: 1) Robin Brown, John Denby.

Enterprise Class: 1) Mike and Jessica Pickworth, 2) Adrian and Caroline Savage, 3) Gordon Padmore.

Lark Class: 1) Bob and Mandy Suggitt. Laser Class: 1) Steve Cumley, 2) Richard Chisnell, 3) Sam Woods.

Solo Class: 1) Brian Allen, 2) John Preston, 3) Nick Day.

Juniors: Optimist Class: 1) Matthew Cross.
