DAVID Taylor has taken over as captain of Ombersley Golf Club for the new season.
The Senior Men's Captain will be David Hawkins.
Taylor's spell as captain began with the traditional Captain's Drive-in, which raised £54 for the County Air Ambulance, the charity supported by the club this year.

The club's men's section have played two matches in the Daily Mail Classic Competition.
A first round victory over Reddtich Golf Club was followed by an agonising second round defeat at Patshull Park, a match which was lost on the second hole of a play-off.
Also in the men's section, the March mid-week medal was won by Mike Langley with a score of 44 Stableford points, while the Spring fourball was won by Mike Larner and Nick Garbett.
Arthur Pritchard won the April mid week medal with a net score of 62.
The Worcestershire handicap league got under way with a fixture at Gaudet Luce Golf Club which ended in a 4-2 defeat for Ombersley.
There have been three matches in the senior men's section, played against Abbey Park, Bewdley Pines and Shirley Golf Club.
These have resulted in two wins and one defeat for the Ombersley teams.
The Gittins Transport Trophy, a mixed competition where a large number of members took part, was won by Bryan Hewitt and Jean Golden with 39 Stableford points.
The Captain v Vice Captain club competition also took place, with the Captain's team winning 7-6.
