ROVERS' FA Cup hopes came to an end when they were dumped out of the competition by Blue Square North side Nuneaton Borough in last night's second qualifying round replay.
Second half goals from Gavin Cowan and Danny Williams sealed the Greens' elimination.
Rod Brown made a string of changes from Saturday's 1-1 draw at the Victoria Ground, most notably Chris Taylor replacing Karl Lewis in goal.

Many of Brown's squad were running on empty after a hard fought first game, and it showed as Rovers lacked cutting edge and a final ball throughout the game.
Borough had the best of the first half with Bradley Pritchard sending a diving header wide after meeting Andy Brown's cross, while Taylor comfortably held a header from Neil Moore.
Rovers' only shot on target all night came from Wayne Dyer on 16 minutes.
He won the ball in midfield and unleashed a low, skimming drive from 30 yards which was tipped around the post by Nuneaton goalkeeper Danny Acton.
But the Greens contributed to their own downfall on 52 minutes when keeper Taylor picked up a John Snape back pass.
A free kick was awarded inside the area and Cowan smashed home a lay off from Tom Curtis to give the home side the lead.
And Rovers' fate was sealed seven minutes from time, when Williams collected Carl Palmer's pass on the left wing, before running across the area and hitting an unstoppable drive past Taylor.
