SPORTS clubs in Bromsgrove will be able to access professional support and advice at a special forum.
The Bromsgrove Sports Club Forums are an annual series of free meetings organised by the District Council’s sports development team.
They provide a vital platform for local clubs to discuss their needs and identify areas where they may require support, such as funding and marketing.
Members will receive information and updates on local and national developments, new initiatives, campaigns and schemes that are available.
Throughout the year, there will also be expert presentations and workshops, advice and support on key topics and challenges facing sports clubs, a chance to meet local council officers and organizations, and the opportunity to talk to other clubs and share best practice and professional experience.
Councillor Michael Webb, whose portfolio covers leisure, said: “This has been a year full of sports and recognition of sporting achievements.
“So the new Bromsgrove forums are a great way to keep the sporting spirit alive.”
The first meeting of the forum will be held on Monday, December 10 at Bromsgrove District Council House (6.30pm).
