A TRIO from Bromsgrove and Redditch AC scooped team gold at the Worcestershire Half Marathon Championships held at Blackminster Middle School.
The event was run in conjunction with the Blackminster half marathon with an impressive field of 249 runners competing.
Simon Lanckham (84 minutes and 29 seconds) finished eighth, followed by Steve Williams (84.48, 9th) and Darryll Thomas (91.48, 30th). This combined effort saw the trio take first place in the team rankings.
Williams finished in first place in the over-40s veteran category.
BRAC also fielded a team at the Saucony Midland 12 and 6 Stage Road Relays, where they earned qualification to the National Road Race Championships in April.
