TWO gifted squash players, who are members of Barnt Green Sports Club, are riding high in their national age group rankings.

Kiera Marshall is currently third in girls Under-13s and 27th in the Under-15s English squash and racketball standings.

She was English Under-11s champion in 2012, runner-up in the British Junior Championships in 2013 and finished third in the English Junior Championships this year.

Kiera is also reigning West Midlands champion for Under-13s and is also Worcestershire’s Under-15s title holder.

Her club mate Sam Osborne-Wylde, 10, is also rated as one of the sport's country’s brightest young talents stars. Sam is ranked the country’s number one squash player in the Under-11s.

He will be competing in the English Nationals in June, which will be is held in Nottingham. Sam’s ambition for next year is to play for his country and compete in Europe.
