JUNIOR Morgan King has made a splash since joining Bromsgrove Swimming Club.
The 11-year-old has came a long way in the last year after impressive performances at the Worcester County Championships.
After being challenged by head coach Edd Mansell, she recorded 12 qualifying times for the county championships.
In doing so, she shattered the target of three time she was set and dramatically improved on last year's solitary time.
Morgan, who attends Turves Green Girls School, will now be racing in the 100 metres and 200m front crawl in Coventry after qualifying for the Midlands Championships.
To illustrate her improvement, she set a time of one minute and 11.05 seconds in the 100m front crawl, dramatically improving on previous her time of 1-19.11.
Mansell said: "Morgan is a very nice girl with a great attitude towards the sport, she always comes to training, and hates not being there.
"She is always looking to improve and wanting to learn new things and quicker ways to swim, everyone at Bromsgrove SC wishes her good luck in the Midlands Championships."
