CHADDESLEY Corbett took a big step to safety in Worcestershire Division Three after beating Cleobury Mortimer by six wickets.
The hosts bowled first and removed Mortimer for just 85 in 25 overs, with Muhammad Saddiq (2-19), Mohammed Ramzan (3-52), Shahed Zia (3-12) and Ansar Mahmood (1-2) all displaying wicket-taking form with the ball.
Corbett made 86-4 in reply.
They host Tenbury on Saturday and end the season at Harborne (both 12.30pm start).
