DROITWICH Spa Athletic recorded an impressive 2-1 win over Rubery Athletic in the LMS Shield.
A well hit free-kick from Tom Harris and a header from Mitchell Parrish gave the visitors a 2-0 buffer from which they never looked back. Rubery’s effort with a few minutes ago, which was a close offside call, was all they had to show for the morning endeavours.
Thomas Brothers striker Rob Burkus is another in-form player and his goal was enough to beat Santiago RV 1-0 in a narrow victory.
