DROITWICH set their stall out for the remainder of the season with an accomplished 5-0 home win.

Droitwich played well throughout the match and after a number of great saves, the Kings Heath goal was finally penetrated by Droitwich with a well-worked goal from Jasmine Williams.

Lucy Hine and Louise Warrilow both bagged two each from tactical, set play pieces.

“This excellent team performance should bode well for the forthcoming season, and the fact that we kept a clean sheet was really impressive and something that is important if we want to get promotion this season”, Lorna Davidson explained.

Droitwich Spa Men 3rds 2, Bromgrove 3rds 1

The men maintained their winning streak with a derby success.

They fell behind to a penalty corner but regained their composure and pushed Bromsgrove back as Liam Hine commanded the middle of the park and bagged the leveller.

Droitwich survived a scare as Bromsgrove had a goal ruled out but Mathew Mason swept home the winner after good work by Pete Sankey.

Redditch 6, Droitwich Ladies 2nds 1 In Worcestershire League Division Three, Spa were not match for their in-form rivals.

After falling 2-0 down, Jenny Copson scored a goal but Droitwich conceded a third before half-time. Spa then let in three more after the break.
