BROMSGROVE Swimming Club was in fine form at the British Gas National Masters and Senior Age Group Championships.

The competition was tough with quite a few British, European and World records tumbling each day throughout the competition.

Over the weekend, Gary Wright achieved five personal bests and two bronze medals in the 200m freestyle and 100m individual medley, and just missed out on more medals in the 45-49 year category.

Meanwhile, the Abbey Stadium in Redditch was the venue for the Girls Only Trophy Gala last month and the Bromsgrove Swimming Club girls who took part gave a great effort, with lots of personal bests achieved.
