DROITWICH Spa FC will be hoping to close the gap on the teams above them in the Midlands Football League when then tackle Hampton at home on Saturday (3pm ko).

Spa remain second-from-bottom in the Midlands Division Two, but they aim to keep the pressure on. Hampton are 11th in the table with a seven-point lead over their rivals, but joint-manager Wayne Oliver has targeted three points.

He said: “We’ll be looking to win this game, but we’ve said that before and we’ve lost, so we have to take it seriously.”
