DROITWICH'S men went down 5-1 to Pershore in the West Midlands Division One.

The team produced a swash-buckling display, but failed to take their chances.

The thirds were edged out 2-1 by Solihull Blossomfield.

Blossomfield took the lead against the run of play after a defensive error gifted them an uncontested shot which they dispatched.

In the second period, Blossomfield proved the more ruthless as they took advantage of another loose pass which led to keeper Martyn Davies conceding a penalty flick, which he saved well.

Droitwich continued to drive forward, leaving gaps at the back which Blossomfield exposed and scored their second on the match to put the result beyond doubt with 10 minutes remaining.

However, Spa leading scorer Sean Laight popped up for his ninth of the season.

Spa’s fourths side got the better of Old Silhillians 6-0.
