KARL Stokes bagged an equaliser as Droitwich Spa Athletic drew 1-1 with Sporting Rednal in Bromsgrove and District League Division One.

In the Premier Division, Oak Tree Sporting recorded their first points in the top flight with a 3-1 triumph at The Grove.

Lee Giles opened the scoring for Grove when he struck a crisp 20-yard volley into the bottom corner with barely 90 seconds played.

Sporting levelled the scores midway through the half when James Gasson crashed home a free-kick rocket.

Rory Milbourne scored his first-ever Premier goal with a right-footed curled effort after 50 minutes to put Oak Tree into the lead before another long-range effort from Gasson sealed victory.

l Santiago Colts FC are preparing for the new season and despite having 42 coaches and over 250 players the club still requires two coaches for the six and seven-year-old teams.

The club are also looking for a 'keeper for their U-18 squad.
