JAYDEN Levitt finished the season as Bromsgrove’s top run scorer with 934 league runs as the firsts secured a top six finish in Birmingham League Division One.

Wellington were the visitors for the final league game which started late as a T20 after overnight rain.

Ash Newfield took 3-12 and then scored an unbeaten 63 as Bromsgrove chased down 94.

Old Elizabethans showed why it was them and not Bromsgrove seconds in the runners-up spot as they posted 237 and then bowled their visitors out for just 169.

Bromsgrove’s thirds posted 265 against Old Hill at Romsley thanks to Mike Bennison (53) and Paul Husbands (48).

Josh Searle took his first fivewicket haul of the season but Old Hill managed to hang on for the losing draw.

The fourths had a second match conceded, this time by Worcester Dominies.

On Sunday, the firsts lost out to Beacon in the final of the WSLT20 but the second team faired better, winning a tight final against Beacon.
