A SERIES of strong results meant it has been a good week for Bromsgrove.
In Division Four, the Ladies C team took on a traditionally strong Evesham A and came away with a 3-1 win.
Debbie Oliver and Joan McGregor were in top form as they won both their encounters, despite being pushed to three sets in their second.
Ann Banner with Di Wilson showed real determination in two long three-set battles to secure the extra victory needed to give Bromsgrove a decisive win.
It was a similar story for the Ladies F team as they took on Belbroughton B in a Division Nine match.
Alison Douglas and Carol Cornellison were commanding as they won both their encounters.
Cynthia Colley and Jane Corbett took the extra win for the overall 3-1 victory and just missed out on making it 4-0 in a tense final clash.
Finally, the Ladies the G team took on local rivals David Lloyd Bromsgrove and won 3-1 win in Division 10.
Sue Corfield and Naomi Moore strolled to two straightforward wins, while Di Horton and Clare Hancox stormed from behind to give Bromsgrove yet another 3-1 win.
The men’s F team took on Stourport D and won 4-0, with the father and son duo of Roger and Duncan Lewis proving too much.
The Mixed C lost out by one game to Moreton-in-Marsh.
Husband and wife duo of John and Linda Casey went down in both their in two sets as Bromsgrove lost on countback.
