JACOB Elliott has been helping to put Bromsgrove Swimming Club on the map.
He fought his way through to the British Summer Championships after qualifying in 24th place for the 50 metres breaststroke.
The event attracts the top 25 swimmers from each event in Great Britain and Jacob pulled out all the stops to reach the final and finish seventh.
Jacob also reached the ASA English Nationals Final for the 100 meters breaststroke where he claimed second spot to clinch a silver medal.
Bromsgrove Swimming Club's head coach Matthew Lowe claimed: "The whole club is proud of Jacob, but this is again what we've seen across the board this year which is huge improvements from a Bromsgrove swimmer who's performing well when it counts."
