FAIRFIELD Villa players spent last Saturday afternoon watching title rivals Droitwich and Paget Rangers fight out a drawn contest after their proposed Midland League Division Two top of the table clash at Alvis Sporting Club was called off.
Villa will be keeping their fingers crossed for better weather this weekend when they entertain Earlswood Town.
Spokesman Paul Oakes said: "We should have a full squad to select from against Earlswood, especially with Ryan Molesworth back available so manager Wayne Davis will have a few tough decisions to make.
"Although we didn't play last Saturday, the weekend went very well for us with Paget and Droitwich both drawing while another of the title contenders Knowle lost."
