FIVE of Droitwich's Kazoku-Kan club members won medals at the Samurai Green and Under competition in Kidderminster.

Molly Charlwood secured gold in the red and yellow belt category and then faced higher grades with more experience to bag silver in the orange and green section.

James Worsfold won bronze in the red and yellow category and Kuba Wojtasik also claimed a bronze in the yellow and orange section.

Harry Evans added an orange and green belt bronze medal as did Sian Evans in the girls' equivalent.

Head coach Rob Alloway said: “It was a fantastic performance by everyone in a very difficult competition.”

Instructor Rich Morrish said: “These kids go out there every time and show what they are made of and each time they surprise themselves.

"The experience they gain from the competitions is so valuable. The medals are just a bonus. We couldn’t be prouder of them.”

Kazoku-Kan train every Friday at Physique Fitness on the Berry Hill Industrial Estate.
