Alloway also placed seventh in his category involving the under 70 and 66kg competitors.

At the London Open Alloway earned fifth place in a tough competition, showing determination and skill.

He then tackled the High Wycombe masters tournament and beat an Irish opponent in extra time to book a final place.

Despite losing to a shoulder throw to his Ealing rival Alloway walked away with a silver medal.

Kazoku-Kan instructor Rich Morrish said of the younger players: "Watching these kids progress and succeed in a sport that commands respect from its competitors is such a joy.

"We are so proud of how far they have all come in such a short space of time."
