BROMSGROVE Sporting will be hoping to better last season and go all the way to the FA Vase final this year.

The draw for the second round of the cup competition has taken place this afternoon with Sporting handed a tricky away tie at league rivals Sporting Khalsa.

The two clubs are locked at the top of the Midlands League Premier this season, but Bromsgrove will be looking at replicating last season’s success which saw them reach the semi-final of the competition.

Following the weekend’s ties in the first round, of which nine will be replayed, there are 64 matches at the next stage of the competition.

There are 24 clubs entering the competition at this stage, consisting of those who reached the fourth round proper last season who haven't been promoted to the Buildbase FA Trophy this term.

Games will be played on Saturday, November 11, with winning clubs receiving £900 and losing clubs getting £300 from the FA’s prize fund.
