BROMSGROVE Sporting are set to test themselves against Black Country clubs Stourbridge and Halesowen as part of a testing pre-season programme.

The Rouslers will kick-off the friendly campaign at home to the Gary Hackett’s impressive Glassboys on Saturday, July 14, who enjoyed a memorable run to the FA Cup second round last season (3pm kick-off).

Three days later, resurgent Halesowen are the visitors to the Victoria Ground (7.45pm kick-off).

Sporting also have away trips to Alvechurch, Stourport Swifts and Studley.

With the club still to learn if it will continue in the Midland Combination Division One or be promoted to the Premier Division, the season will kick-off on Saturday, August 4.

A sportsman's evening with former Liverpool star and Kidderminster Harriers manager, Jan Mølby is being held at the Rouslers Bar on Friday, July 6. Tickets, which include a luxury buffet supper, are £20 and available from the club on 01527 876949.
