Sporting reveal 2012-13 ticket prices
8:00am Wednesday 27th June 2012 in Local
BROMSGROVE Sporting have announced their ticket prices for the 2012-13 campaign, after their promotion to the Midland Combination Premier Division was ratified.
The Rouslers’ move up to the higher level, which was announced last week, was confirmed at the league’s AGM on Monday.
While the promotion was widely expected, Sporting had been holding off their plans until their future was confirmed but club secretary Dave Stephens revealed they can set events in motion to back manager Keith Draper’s squad bolstering plans.
He said: "We were pretty certain that this was going to happen but there is some relief that our promotion is now confirmed.
"It means that we can now get on with preparations for the new campaign and it gives the manager the go-ahead to consolidate his squad."
The Premier Division will also see an increase in the number of home league games, going up from 17 to 19.
Sporting revealed a slight increase in admission prices, with entry now £5 for adults and £2.50 for under-16s and pensioners.
Season tickets have also gone up and now range from £120 for the vice-presidents package, which includes a programme and half-time refreshments in the VP bar, £80 for an adult and £35 for concessions.
Family season tickets are available at £110 for an adult and one under-16, £120 for an adult and two juniors while a full family pass for two adults and up to three youngsters is £190. Season tickets also include entry into reserve team league matches.
Commercial director Ron McLaren said: “We think this represents good value for money for the number of matches that you can see and any income during the close season is very welcome when we have a lot of expenditure in preparing the pitch.”
Meanwhile, a fans forum will be held in the Rouslers Bar in the Victoria Ground tomorrow (6.30pm start), where Draper will outline his plans and take questions. Directors will also be available for any questions to the board.
The sessions will last one hour then fans will then be able to watch Germany versus Italy in the European Championship semi-final.
Anyone who wishes to buy a season ticket can call the club on 01527 876949.
