CENTRE Ben Te’o has returned to training to give Worcester Warriors a boost ahead of their home clash against Wasps on Sunday (3pm).

However, ex-South Africa international Wynand Olivier has been ruled out for up to two weeks with a hamstring problem.

The duo both suffered injuries when Warriors visited Newcastle Falcons in their Aviva Premiership opener last Friday.

Olivier sustained his injury in the warm up and Warriors have confirmed the 34-year-old was likely to be out for “one to two weeks”.

Te’o replaced Olivier in the starting line-up before being forced off with an arm injury on 27 minutes as Worcester went on to lose 35-8.

Immediately after the match, director of rugby Gary Gold feared the 30-year-old had “damaged” a plate in his arm.

But the club said Te’o was “fine” and back in training today as they prepare for their second league game of the season.
