WORCESTER Warriors flanker Carl Kirwan faces up to four months on the sidelines with a dislocated shoulder.

The injury-hit back rower suffered the blow in the second half of Worcester Cavaliers’ 32-6 win over Wasps in the Premiership Rugby A-League last week.

It is another massive setback for Kirwan who tweeted prior to the game saying he was delighted to be back after “11 months and four surgeries”.

But Warriors have confirmed the damage was sustained to the "opposite shoulder" to the one he has previously had problems with.

Hooker Matti Williams also picked up an injury in the match and Warriors anticipate the front rower to be out for between four and five weeks with a fractured hand.
