WORCESTER Warriors were edged out 17-15 by Gloucester in the Premiership Rugby Sevens Plate final at Franklin's Gardens on Saturday.
Tries from Naca Kinikinilau, Nick David and Luke Scully saw Warriors come from 12-0 behind to lead 15-12 with three minutes to go.
But Gareth Evans went over in the corner to secure Gloucester victory.
Earlier that day Warriors claimed an impressive 26-15 win over Leicester Tigers with David, Joss Linney and Michael Mellett (2) all crossing the whitewash.
On Friday, Chim Gale’s young side lost 29-12 to Bath and 28-14 to Exeter Chiefs as they dropped into Saturday's Plate competition.
