MOEEN Ali has been included in all three England squads to face Pakistan in the UAE this autumn.

The Worcestershire all-rounder, 28, has been named in the squads for the three Tests, four one-day internationals and three T20 internationals.

England fly out to the UAE on September 30 and return home on December 1 for a short break before the winter programme continues against South Africa.

Moeen is one of three spin bowlers in the Test squad along with Adil Rashid and uncapped Surrey left-armer Zafar Ansari.

Nottinghamshire opener Alex Hales has been included in the Test squad for the first time.

Hales’ county colleague James Taylor, who started in the Worcestershire academy, has also been named in the Test squad plus the one-day international squad.

Another left-arm spinner, Lancashire’s Stephen Parry, has been recalled to the T20 international squad, which also features Sussex paceman Chris Jordan.

National selector James Whitaker said: “The challenge we face against Pakistan will be very different and the composition of our squads reflects the conditions we expect to encounter in the UAE.

"Ansari’s potential excites us and he will provide strong competition for Rashid and Moeen in the Test squad after enjoying an excellent domestic season with both bat and ball for Surrey."
