ZEN Malik returns to Worcestershire academy action this weekend after scoring his maiden century for the second XI.
Malik reached three figures for the first time in the rain-hit draw with Warwickshire seconds at Barnt Green.
Tomorrow, he will be part of the academy side who take on Worcestershire Under 17s in a 50-over match at Bromsgrove (11am).
Nick Hammond will skipper the academy in their second match of the season after the defeat away to Malvern College First XI with Oli Rogoff keeping wicket.
Zak Smith will lead the under 17s with Joel Craner behind the stumps in a side containing paceman Jack Charters, who was part of the victorious Malvern College side.
The two teams will meet again at the same venue the following Sunday for another 50-over clash.
Worcestershire academy: Newton, Wiffen, N Hammond, Herridge, Malik, Clarke, Lloyd, Rogoff, Scrimshaw, Wheldon, Wilkinson.
Worcestershire under 17s: Johal, Brandrick, Turner, Smith, Kinder, J Hammond, Finch, Cox, Craner, Charters, Nicholls.
