WORCESTERSHIRE Rapids suffered weather frustration when today's Royal London One-Day Cup match with Leicestershire Foxes was abandoned.

Heavy overnight rain left puddles on the edge of the square and prevented play from starting on time.

The skies gradually brightened and umpires Neil Bainton and Nick Cook announced a 2pm inspection.

However, hopes were dashed as a tremendous deluge left the ground flooded in large areas.

Skipper Daryl Mitchell and paceman Matt Henry were due to undergo fitness tests on their respective rib injuries.
