WORCESTERSHRE will be screened in live NatWest T20 Blast action on Sky Sports on at least three occasions this summer.

The Rapids will first be seen in front of the cameras for the North Group home encounter with Derbyshire Falcons on Wednesday, July 19.

Last season the Worcestershire players wore special Yell4Fell shirts during this fixture in support of team-mate Tom Fell and first team scorer Dawn Pugh in their battle against cancer.

Skipper Joe Leach and his players will also be featured in two away T20 Blast fixtures.

The Rapids visit local rivals Birmingham Bears on Friday, August 4 and travel to Lancashire Lightning on Wednesday, August 16.

Worcestershire won at Edgbaston in another televised game last season with Brett D'Oliveira scoring an excellent half century but were bowled out for 53 - their lowest ever T20 score - at Old Trafford.

There may be other opportunities to see the Rapids in TV action should they progress to the latter stages of the T20 Blast and the Royal London One-Day Cup.

Sky Sports will broadcast more hours of cricket than ever before this summer, including live coverage of England's internationals, the ICC Champions Trophy, the ICC Women's World Cup, the T20 Blast, One-Day Cup and more.

Worcestershire chief executive Tom Scott said: "There is always an added sense of excitement when games are shown live on TV - for players and spectators - and cricket is delighted with its partnership with Sky Sports.

"But it is also good news for our commercial partners in terms of giving national exposure to their companies and brands."
