WORCESTERSHIRE trio Ollie Westbury, Josh Dell and Tom Fell all scored half centuries in the latest round of Birmingham Premier League matches.

Dell, who recently signed his first professional contract with the County, struck 65 and was on the winning side for Ombersley in the Premier Division encounter with Walsall.

He hit one six and seven fours in his 120 ball knock as Ombersley totalled 234-4 in 55 overs and then bowled out Walsall for 112 in 37.5 overs.

Fell top-scored with 61 for Wolverhampton in another Premier Division match versus Moseley but his efforts were in vain.

Moseley amassed 243-5 in 55 overs and then bowled out Wolves for 180 in 45.4 overs.

Fell hit eight fours in his innings spanning 85 deliveries and he shared in a second wicket stand of 90 with Zen Malik (42).

But they were both dismissed with the total on 108 and Wolverhampton’s challenge fizzled out.

In Division One, Worcestershire Seconds captain Westbury powered Himley to a quickfire 10 wicket win over Kidderminster.

Kidderminster, for whom Ben Twohig top-scored with 14, were bowled out for 78 in 35.2 overs.

Then Westbury hit an unbeaten 64 from 55 balls with one six and 11 fours as Himley knocked off the runs in 14.2 overs.

Daryl Mitchell played for Brockhampton and was dismissed cheaply but ended on the winning side against Halesowen.

The County all-rounder was out for eight off 19 balls as Brockhampton reached 276-9 in 55 overs.

But he contributed with the ball and had figures of 7-0-23-2 as Halesowen were dismissed for 181 in 45.3 overs.

Worcestershire coach Andy Sutton top-scored with 49 out of Barnt Green’s 178 in 54.1 overs but his side went down by five wickets to Kenilworth Wardens in the Premier Division.
