Jamie Lee Curtis and former Dancing with the Stars winner J.R Martinez were among the celebrities honoured by the American Red Cross at a Los Angeles gala.
The Halloween actress and the Iraq war veteran both lent their support to the annual Red Tie Affair in Santa Monica.
Curtis, who walked the red carpet in a knee-length scarlet dress, said: "The Red Cross is really the first line of defence for people, the first safety, the first shelter - they're the first on the scene, they're the first people you're going to see if something catastrophic in your life.
"I'm really thrilled to represent for them, to advocate for them, and to be a cheerleader, really."
Other guests included Josh Duhamel, who showed up minus wife Fergie, and Kendra Wilkinson
