My memories of you are plentiful and too many to put on this page, A couple of vivid ones are summer days at Autumn Cottage aged about 4 or 5, "helping" Uncle Alan in the garden with you making lunch for us all. Duncan being so very poorly but I was too young to understand. Visits with Mrs Appleby, she gave me a beautiful gold locket, which I still wear on occasions.
Visits to The Worcestershire and then to York Place. Few and far between because of my emigrating to NZ. Days out together to Sudley Castle, or Malvern, Pershore etc. My Kenwood mixer was and still is my pride and joy! Gifted to me by you and Uncle Alan 36 years ago it is used often and is as good as the day you bought it! My other daily reminder of you is a beautiful little clay hedgehog made by Uncle Alan many years ago that sits on my hearth and is often admired. I'm sorry I shifted away Aunty Christine, I wasn't there for you in these last few years, I should have liked to have been.I know you will find peace with so many loved ones that have passed before you but especially Duncan and Uncle Alan. My love always and such fond memories, You were such a thoughtful, generous, model Godmother, indeed, I was the fortunate one. Peace and love to you always, from Louise ****
