HOLLYWOOD star Drew Barrymore has marvelled at a Bromsgrove gran who enjoys tequila shots at 102 years old.
Lily Bullen was featured in the Worcester News/ The Bromsgrove Advertiser after turning 102 and enjoying a Tequila shot at family parties.
She also revealed her love of Dominos pizza and Greggs sausage rolls.
Granddaughter Holly West, from Worcester, could not believe it when she was contacted by the popular American talk show after the article was shared around the world.
Mrs West said: "We can’t believe the attention nan has received after the Worcester News article about her 102 birthday.
"When the national papers rang the morning the story was published we didn’t think it would go global.
"Nan's home was in lockdown at the time, her carer Laura showed her the article in the newspaper and she said 'Oooh Laura I’m famous'.
"Little did we know her story would be published in the national papers, and online.
"When she made it onto LadBible we all thought it was madness, and the Drew Barrymore show got in touch from America and they featured her story in Drew’s News.
"It’s just crazy. I don’t think she realises the full extent of her global stardom. We love the fact the world has seen how fabulous our nan is."
