International Owl Awareness Day

Celebrate International Owl Awareness Day with a day full of owl-tastic activities for families. Keepers will be leading special talks throughout the day and, during the Meet the Keeper sessions, visitors can have a close encounter with a selection of the Park’s resident owl species.

Potter fans will be able to view Birdland’s family of snowy owls while ‘strigiphiles’ (owl lovers) will enjoy meeting the Chaco owl, one of the cutest species of these legendary birds. Spot the differences between the species and learn more about their fascinating lives during your visit.

The Bourton-on-the-Water attraction is home to over 500 birds ranging from England’s only breeding colony of king penguins and awesome birds of prey to parrots, cassowaries and cranes in a mix of free-flying and enclosed habitats.
