The Malt House stands well in Chipping Campden's famous High Street said by Pevesner to be 'the best piece of townscape in Gloucestershire, arguably one of the best in England'. The property has the added advantage of rear vehicular access to 3 parking spaces in a secure parking area.

The Malt House is listed Grade II as a building of special architectural or historic interest and is thought to date principally from the early 18th Century. It has a handsome facade of dressed Cotswold stone with mullion and leaded windows with moulded drips and a later canted bay on the ground floor. The house derives its name from the late 18th Century malt house at the rear which, whilst now converted to provide a marvellous entertaining room, retains the original malt kiln with its pierced ceramic tiles and is a rare surviving example of a building of this type. Extensively and sympathetically renovated in 2006 with more recent improvements, the property is immaculately presented and retains a wealth of period features including a fine oak staircase, fireplaces and a variety of exposed timbers. To the front, on the ground floor there is a formal dining room with limestone flooring and a delightful drawing room with original painted 18th Century panelling. Passing through to the rear wing there is a well fitted cloakroom and an inner hall leading onto the large kitchen/breakfast room with an inglenook fireplace now housing a gas fired Aga, large island unit and generous breakfast/dining area. There is a good sized utility room and right at the rear is the converted Malt Room providing a large entertaining area with oak flooring and a variety of original features including the malt kiln which now provides an elevated study area. The first floor has a fine master bedroom suite with a large dressing room, en-suite bathroom and WC. There are 2 further bedrooms on this level each with bath or shower rooms, which can be used in combination as a suite. On the second floor there are two double attic bedrooms one with an en-suite bathroom and dressing room and a further well fitted bathroom.

Chipping Campden is one of the most beautiful and historic of all the Cotswold market towns. It lies in a fold of the Cotswold hills in the heart of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty approximately 12 miles to the south east of Stratford-upon-Avon and 22 miles north of Cheltenham. The town is well known for its traditional Cotswold architecture, much of it dating back to the Middle Ages. There is a good range of shops catering for most everyday needs as well as a number of specialist suppliers, a library, schools and a doctor's surgery. Cheltenham and Stratford-upon-Avon are the main shopping and cultural centres for the region. The surrounding countryside offers many excellent walks and rides and there are ample sporting opportunities. Therer is a mainline station to London from Moreton-in-Marsh (about 8 miles) and most West Midland centres are within daily commuting distance.

To the rear there is a delightful walled garden on various levels with a selection of terraces and eating areas and various levelled lawns. Over recent years the garden has been designed and landscaped to comprise beautiful gardens, divided into separate rooms by espalier Hornbeam, Yew and Box hedging and an abundance of rose beds and herbaceous borders throughout. Beyond the garden there is a secure parking area with 3 dedicated parking spaces.
